Understanding Reputation Capital

Leaders develop relationships and inspire employees based on trust. Employees trust the information and insight that a leader shares, therefore, it’s important to think about the behaviors that build trust. Review the video and reflect on your reputation with your supervisor, colleagues/peers, and those whom you supervise. Answer the following questions:

  1. Do these people or groups have the same view of your leadership?
  2. Where do you think your reputation could use some support?
  3. Would you want to work for you? If so why and if not why not?
